How we will assist you

Our Process Servers follow the Code of Practice and daily handle the service of Foreign Personal Service throughout the U.K. providing a proof of service, affidavits sworn by our solicitors or by our Notary Public.

Depending on the location of the issuing Court we can arrange service of foreign proceedings by methods stipulated in the Hague Convention or English and Welsh law.

Where the documents are via the Hague Service Convention. Once service is effected the certificate of service you receive is complete with the seal of the Senior Courts the Central Authority for the UK, which is the Senior Master of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Courts of Justice in London.

We can accept the documents by email providing your issuing court does not require originals to be served. Or you may wish to courier the original documents to our offices and we will confirm receipt.

Upon receipt of the documents we aim to serve within 24-48 hours.

Where the documents need to be served via the Hague Service Convention we fast track the documents through the High Courts of Justice in London and the turnaround time is approximately 3-4 weeks.

How we can help when the address of the entity or individual to be served is not known.

Where the defendant’s U.K. address is not known, we will run a trace and locate service so that the documents can be personally served. We will ask you for the relevant information on the subject and the basic trace service normally takes 3 working days.
